Baby Boys get cute hats too!
Next project...
Making a few hats even the Daddy's will want to put on their little boys.
A hint?
First one is made with camoflauge yarn... need I say more?
Second one... it's in season, guys go crazy over it and maybe it's because I'm a girl, but I just don't get it.
COMING SOON!

It's Chilly - Bring out the Yarn!
Geez! 2 months since my last post. That's just terrible. The end of summer and the start of fall have kept me pretty busy though.
Recently I traded in my paintbrush for a crochet hook. With about 5 friends popping out cute little babies between July and September I thought I'd get busy with the yarn and make a few booties, hats and blankets. I also took some time to get a little creative with other projects.

Baby Bear hat for my newest nephew! I placed some ties in the back of the hat so it can grow with him. |

| I found myself with a present for boyfriend's birthday but no time to run to the store for wrapping paper. So I created my own custom wrapping paper and paper flowers instead of a bow. |

Bloggers in Remembrance
THE SOLDIERS DREAM
by: Billy Little
Every soldier has a dream
Whilst going off to war
He dreams of coming home
And what he`s fighting for
The promise he made to his mother
Whispered in a farewell embrace
Or the tears he wipes away
From his little sisters face
He shakes the hand of his father
Then hugs him ever so tight
He’s holding back the tears
With all of his might
His wife kisses him so tenderly
While his son is at his knee
He scoops him up into his arms
The tears flow for all to see
His little boy wipes his tears
And say`s “Daddy don’t cry”
I will look after mum for you
If you were to die
He puts his son down
And turns to walk away
Dreaming, that he will
Make it home one day

Family..... or Art History
Recently my mom brought out some pictures my grandma created years and years ago. I thought it was pretty interesting considering I had recently sat down to work on a watercolor and my niece, age 7, decided to join me. My sister-in-law is also great about mailing my 2 year-old nephews latest artwork to the family. I love each and everyone of these pieces!

| Watercolor ~ by Martha Tipton ummmm... seems like I've seen a watercolor painting like this but maybe with some ink added... ;) |
| Abby ~ age 7 Butterflies and flowers... there seems to be a trend... |
